No. DGEN Payments lets you start without KYC and without business documentation. Store access is still reviewed, and DGEN can request more information if risk, abuse, or legal issues appear.
How fast is store approval?
Most valid stores are reviewed in under 1 day.
Do I need documents?
No business documents are needed to start. Keep your store information accurate because policy or payout reviews may still require clarification later.
What payment methods are available?
GCash, Stripe card payments, crypto through Stripe, and UPI. Stripe/Card and UPI are enabled by default for Free stores.
How does the free GCash gateway work?
You install the DGEN GCash Android app, enter your store API key, grant notification read permission, allow background running, and keep the phone online. The app forwards GCash receive notifications to your DGEN store.
Does DGEN take commission from GCash?
No. GCash payments are received in your own GCash account. DGEN does not hold that money and does not charge a DGEN commission on GCash receipts.
What is included in Free?
Free is $0/month and keeps Stripe/Card and UPI enabled by default. Stores can also use GCash with standard DGEN checkout branding.
What is Premium?
Premium is $5/month and unlocks Stripe/Card and UPI controls, so a store can disable or re-enable those rails from Payment providers.
What is Business?
Business is $10/month and includes Premium plus custom checkout branding, including uploaded logo or text branding from Store Settings.
Can I turn off Stripe or UPI on the Free plan?
No. Free stores keep Stripe/Card and UPI enabled. Premium and Business stores can control Stripe/Card and UPI.
Can I use my own logo on checkout?
Yes, this is available on Business.
Are payouts available?
Yes. Payout requests are available from the dashboard. External provider, bank, FX, network, tax, or compliance fees may still apply outside DGEN.
Can I sell illegal or high-risk items?
No. Illegal goods, fraud, stolen goods, prohibited services, abuse, impersonation, and high-risk activity are not allowed.
Can DGEN remove access?
Yes. DGEN may limit, suspend, or remove store access at any time for fraud, illegal activity, risk, chargeback abuse, policy violations, or platform abuse.
Do buyers need a new app for GCash?
No. Buyers pay through the normal GCash flow. Your Android phone and the DGEN app handle confirmation on the merchant side.
What happens if the Android phone is offline?
Payments already received in GCash are not lost. The DGEN app queues failed sends and retries when the phone/network is back, but instant matching needs the phone online.
What API can merchants use?
Merchants can use Store API v1, checkout links, GCash forwarder endpoints, payment links, products, orders, wallets, and signed outbound webhooks. Internal platform endpoints are not part of the public merchant docs.
